No school in my village

There is no school in my village ,Majhiguda. Hence we are walking more than 2 km. to reach our school in Ramgiri.There is no toilet in our village . So people are defecating all over the place.

People in our villages use raw rice . But for different work , government supplies boiled rice to the panchayats. It is difficult for the people to eat them as they are not used to it.

Rain-Mud-Water-Malaria

It rained heavily in our village.Water could not go out.Mosquitos lived in the dirty water . People donot use mosquito nets and hence are suffering from Malaria. one interesting thing. People go to the weekly market and while coming back to the village they come drunk.They can't walk properly too. And now because of the mud in the village they are falling on the road . By the time they reach their house ,their dress gets dirty.

Health Centre Needs Opening

A health centre has been constructed in our village .But even after five years of its completion , it has not been opened.People could get the benifit if it could be opened.

Country Liquor is prepared in our village in large quantity.People consume this liquor and get ill, even some of them die.

A great loss!

Rain has spoiled the life of many people in our village . People had cultivated Paddy in their field . But the severe rain form the last five days has become a great problem for them . The paddy is in its final stage and if there would not be the rain , it could have been harvested .

Youth! get up.

I see many young persons in my village . But they donot do any purposeful work in their life . But just are busy gossiping . They comment on the girls who go on the road . When would they learn to do the right work?

Two tube wells are not OK

My village is Bilaput.There are three tubewells . But people are facing problem as two tubewells out of that are not functioning.People are drinking water from the nearby stream.

Many children in our village go to guard the cattle and donot attend the school. They are remaining uneducated.

Parents do not send

Ours is a residential school . Children come to the school at the begining of the year . But after the dresses and books are given to them they stop coming to the school.The parents scold if any one goes to call them .

My friend came to the school with out putting oil on the head . I told her to put oil . She did as I told . She is looking good today and I am happy to see her.

Children come and go

There is a village , Bedhuguda near my village , Narayanpatna . Tribal people , mostly Kondhs stay in this village . There is a school in this village . But parents admit their children in the begining of the academic year and then the children leave their school to work with their parents.

Farmers of our area have grown vegetables . But due to lack of proper knowledge , they donot use the right fertilisers and pesticides in the right time . Hence they get less profit .
